The 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited offers the choice between two innovative 4x4 systems: Command-Trac® and Rock-Trac®.

With Command-Trac® 4x4, all four wheels will receive equal torque for optimal traction. With Rock-Trac®, you can take advantage of a 4:1 low-gear ratio to crawl over even the trickiest terrain. For added stability, you can match either of these systems with the available Hill Descent Control technology. This intelligent function will assist with braking while you're descending those especially steep hills.

Furthermore, the Jeep's axle is engineered to help you get even farther off the road. The Dana 44 Heavy Duty Axle has Tru-Lok® locking differentials, boosted ground clearance, and a front sway bar you can disconnect for increased tire compression.  

Exterior Features on the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

The 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited also has a few miscellaneous exterior features that make any adventure a possibility.

Its 42.2° approach angle, 21.2° breakover angle, and 32.5° departure angle make sure that no obstacle is insurmountable, from a gulley to a log to a boulder.
