The Grand Cherokee L offers two engine options: the standard 3.6L V6 engine and an available 5.7L V8 engine. The 3.6L engine provides 290 horsepower and works with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The Grand Cherokee has the most engine options, with four ranging from 295 horsepower to a whopping 707 horsepower. The standard Grand Cherokee engine is the same as the Grand Cherokee L: a 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine with 295 horsepower.

The most powerful engine for the Grand Cherokee is the available Supercharged 6.2L V8 engine that produces 707 horsepower and allows you to tow a maximum 7,200 pounds when properly equipped.

The Cherokee has three different engine options to choose from. The standard engine for the Cherokee is a 2.4L Tigershark® MultiAir® 2 engine with 180 horsepower. You can also opt for a 2.0L Turbo engine or an available 3.2L Pentastar® V6 engine.

Depending on which SUV you choose, you’ll get different seating arrangements. The Grand Cherokee L can fit up to seven people, while the Grand Cherokee and the Cherokee can seat a maximum of five people. The chart below shows each SUV’s dimensions.

Each SUV offers available leather-trimmed seating across all seats. Heated front seats are also available on all three SUVs so you can stay warm when the weather turns cold. The Grand Cherokee L also features available massage functionality for the front seats.

Like many Jeep vehicles, the Grand Cherokee L, the Grand Cherokee, and the Cherokee are all ready for adventure. Each SUV has its own infotainment system that lets you play music or even a playlist for your next adventure. Available in-vehicle navigation helps you get where you need to go.

Both the Cherokee and the Grand Cherokee have Trailhawk trims. These trims are designed so you can head off-road. They each have 4x4 capability, all-terrain tires, and the Grand Cherokee even offers skid plates.

All three SUVs also offer or have a standard Selec-Terrain® Traction Management System, which lets you adjust drive modes to the terrain you encounter.
