The Grand Cherokee has the most engine options, with four ranging from 295 horsepower to a whopping 707 horsepower. The standard Grand Cherokee engine is the same as the Grand Cherokee L: a 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine with 295 horsepower.

The most powerful engine for the Grand Cherokee is the available Supercharged 6.2L V8 engine that produces 707 horsepower and allows you to tow a maximum 7,200 pounds when properly equipped.

The Cherokee has three different engine options to choose from. The standard engine for the Cherokee is a 2.4L Tigershark® MultiAir® 2 engine with 180 horsepower. You can also opt for a 2.0L Turbo engine or an available 3.2L Pentastar® V6 engine.
