Jeep Gladiator: Commander of the Trail
If you ever find yourself taking your trips away from the main road, you can drive with confidence knowing the Jeep Gladiator has your back. This truck offers an available TrailCam Off-Road Camera to ensure you can always see your way. This feature gives you a forward-facing camera with guidelines, so you can plan out your angle of attack for every obstacle.
Coming up to creeks or streams is no big deal either. With standard Trail Rated® capability, you’ll have the help of a high air intake with water sealing, which ensures you’ll be able to drive in water depths of up to 30 inches.
Plus, when the ground gets muddy, you won’t get stuck without a fight thanks to the help of the standard front and rear Tru-Lok® Electronic Locking Differentials. This feature provides power and maximum traction to the wheels to help maintain momentum on challenging terrain.
Jeep Gladiator: A Heavy Lifter
The Jeep Gladiator is no stranger to hard work, and that really shows with its engine options. This vehicle comes standard with a 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine capable of generating up to 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Thanks to all that muscle, you can expect this powertrain to provide a max towing capacity of up to 7,650 pounds when properly equipped.
If you want the power of diesel by your side, you can always turn to the available 3.0L EcoDiesel V6 engine. With up to 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque, you can expect to tow up to 6,500 pounds with this powertrain when it’s paired with the right equipment. This engine is even capable of an EPA-estimated 22 city/28 highway MPG as well.
To make the most out of your engine power and efficiency, the 3.0L EcoDiesel V6 engine is paired up with an 8-speed automatic transmission. This transmission provides smooth acceleration that keeps the engine from working too hard when it doesn’t have to.
