The Jeep Grand Cherokee L has two engine options. The standard engine is a 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine with 290 horsepower and 257 lb-ft of torque. It works in tandem with a TorqueFlite® 8-speed automatic transmission. A 5.7L HEMI® V8 engine is also available.

Trim Levels

The Jeep Grand Cherokee L has six trim levels to choose from so you can get the trim that matches your needs. The six trims are the Laredo, Altitude, Limited, Overland, Summit, and Summit Reserve.

The base trim level is the Laredo trim. The Laredo trim comes with the standard 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine and a 4x2 drivetrain. You’ll find cloth seating inside the Laredo trim with an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat and heated front seats. In terms of technology, the Uconnect® 5 system is paired with an 8.4-inch display.

One of the mid-tier trims of the Grand Cherokee L is the Limited trim. The Limited trim has standard Capri Leather seats and driver seat memory, which helps keep track of your ideal driving position. Your Limited trim will also get HD™ Radio as part of your infotainment system.

The highest trim level is the Summit Reserve. Your seats upgrade to Palermo leather, and you’ll get standard heated and ventilated first- and second-row seats. The driver and front-passenger seats also come standard with back massagers to keep you comfortable. In terms of tech, the infotainment screen grows to 10.1 inches.
