This upgraded engine offers a boost in power. With its 271 horsepower and 239 lb-ft of torque, you’ll be able to achieve a maximum towing capacity of 4,500 pounds when properly equipped.

Available 2.0L Turbo Engine

The last available engine in the Cherokee’s powertrain lineup is a 2.0L Turbo engine. Also paired with the 9-speed automatic transmission and Front-Wheel Drive, this engine generates 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The extra torque from this engine allows the Cherokee to tow a whopping 4,000 pounds when properly equipped.
